Low Cost Health Insurance
Saving Your Health & Money!
I think it's fairly safe to say that we all understand that buying any form of health insurance isn't going to work out cheaply these days?
We all realise that the cost of medical cover is continuing to rise every month and is unlikely to take much of a reduction any time soon.
So we need to try and use every trick in our arsenal to lower the cost as much as we can – giving us low cost health insurance.
Sadly – the steps we'd need to take do require a sacrifice.
For instance – if you are a smoker then you are going to pay dearly for the privilege of being treated for any health related issues – much more so than a non smoker.
I do sympathise – I used to be a smoker and know how annoying it is to be penalised like this.
Fact remains though – smoke and pay a much higher premium than a non smoker.
So step 1? Can you stop?
If you can – you'll save good money after staying of them for a year or more.
Also – can you afford to up the amount you make as a co – pay agreement?
When you take out health insurance, you agree a rate of co-pay where you fund a part of the total cost of treatment.
If you can arrange to pay more than you would normally – you may well be able to reduce your monthly premium.
This can work for you or against you – depending on if you need to use the cover! It is certainly worth discussing with your insurers though!
